Purposes and grounds for processing
Account and request data are processed to provide the service you request. Additional general statistics are enabled by default and can be disallowed. Municipality statistics and automatic location have separate permissions. Technical protection and service administration support secure operation and prevention of abuse. Where a legal obligation exists, relevant records are processed to meet it. Data is not used for automated decisions about official entitlements, residence or access to public services.
Search statistics
Search may store a hash of the question, recognized topic and whether a result was found to improve search. The original text is not stored in these statistics. These records are separate from daily aggregate counters.
Account and services
For registration and account management we process first and last name, email, phone, password hash, city, language, favorites and notice preferences. Passwords are not stored as readable text. Email is used for verification and account recovery; providing a phone number does not activate SMS. Public information can be read without a user account, subject to current pilot access conditions.
Suggestions, reports and forms
We process requests and suggestions with their description, contact details and linked account to review and respond. Only approved public details and the source are published; contact details, submitter identity and editorial notes remain private. Do not put identity numbers, medical or financial information in descriptions. Downloaded PDF fields are completed in your PDF reader and are not sent to InfoCentar.
Basic aggregate statistics
Public pages automatically count views and selected clicks as daily totals by section and action only. These counters have no analytics cookies, visitor or account identifier, city, municipality, GPS, search text or URL parameters. They cannot count distinct people or reconstruct their journeys. Counters are retained for up to 90 days. A network address is received with the request; separate abuse protection uses a short-lived hash for rate limiting, not for an analytics profile.
Additional statistics and Google Analytics
Additional pseudonymous measurement of public visits, clicks, selected city and active accounts is enabled by default, retained for 90 days. If configured, Google Analytics loads on public sections unless you disallow additional statistics. A previous refusal remains respected. Google receives network and device information; we do not send names, contacts, account identifiers, municipality, precise coordinates, searches or completed forms. Administration and private pages are excluded. Google Signals and advertising are disabled; user and event retention is set to two months. You can disallow additional statistics below at any time; earlier processing is not undone.
City, municipality and location
City and municipality are independent choices for local information. Location requires browser permission. Precise coordinates are matched to municipality boundaries in your browser and are not sent to InfoCentar or Google. Automatic updates run only while the page is open and visible. Municipality statistics require separate permission. Only with automatic location and municipality statistics enabled can a signed-in account have one municipality/day record, with boundary version, retained for up to 31 days. Withdrawal stops processing and deletes daily records. Permitted pseudonymous municipal public events are retained up to 90 days. No precise routes or residence verification.
Service providers and security
Authorized administrators access requests and accounts according to their task. We use hosting, Cloudflare for content delivery and protection, and Microsoft 365 for service emails. External maps, institutions and ticket providers have their own policies when opened. Infrastructure providers may process network metadata. We use HTTPS, hashed passwords and restricted administrator access. We do not sell personal contact information.
Retention and your rights
Your account is retained while active. Requests, reports and administrative records are retained for handling, security and traceability; they do not have the same automatic expiry as analytics. For access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability where applicable, write to the publisher’s contact. We may request identity verification to protect your data. Some records may need to be retained by law or for legal claims. Complaints can be addressed to the Agency for Personal Data Protection.
Additional statistics preferences
Basic totals of public page views and clicks run automatically without analytics cookies, visitor or account identifiers, or location. Additional pseudonymous statistics and Google Analytics, if configured, are enabled by default. You can disallow them below. A previous refusal remains respected.

AI-assisted translations
An authorized editor may use OpenAI to translate approved public editorial text. Profiles, reports, contact details and form requests are not sent through this feature. Translations may contain errors; the official source remains authoritative.
